Viewing Your Current Version
To see which version of Nativeline you’re running:- Click Nativeline in the menu bar
- Select About Nativeline
- Your version number is displayed (e.g., “Version 1.2.3”)

- Note your version — In case you need to report issues
After Updating

Troubleshooting Updates

If an update fails to install:
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure you have enough disk space (at least 500MB)
- Quit Nativeline completely and try again
- Download the latest version directly from nativeline.ai

If Nativeline won’t open after updating:
- Restart your Mac
- Try opening Nativeline again
- If still failing, download fresh from nativeline.ai
- Contact support@nativeline.ai with any error messages

If a project behaves differently after updating:
- Close and reopen the project
- Try rebuilding from scratch (the AI will recreate everything)
- Clear the conversation and describe what you need again
- Contact support if the issue persists

We don’t officially support downgrading, as older versions may be incompatible with our current AI services.If an update causes issues:
- Report the problem to support@nativeline.ai
- We’ll prioritize fixes for critical issues
- Updates with fixes typically ship within days

Xcode Updates
Nativeline uses Xcode (Apple’s developer tools) behind the scenes. Xcode updates are handled separately.When Xcode Needs Updating
- Nativeline will notify you if a newer Xcode version is required
- Updates happen automatically when needed
- Large updates may take time to download
Manual Xcode Updates
If needed, you can update Xcode manually:- Open Xcode from Applications (or via Spotlight)
- Follow any update prompts
- Or update via System Settings → Software Update
Xcode updates can be large (several GB). Ensure you have sufficient disk space and a stable internet connection.
